Olive brown on their back and head with a bushy crest when excited
Throat and breast are pale gray
Belly is bright yellow
Cinnamon rufous in wings and its longish tail

Insects, other invertebrates, some small fruits

Wingspan: 13 in (34 cm)
Weight: 1 to 1 1/2 ounces (27-40 grams)
Notes
The Great Crested Flycatcher nest often contains shed snakeskin or other crinkly materials, such as plastic wrappers, cellophane, and onion skin. It spends very little time on the ground, but when there it prefers to fly from place to place rather than walk
